Long-running agentic work keeps the agent's context in files: rules, a statement of intent, a work queue, notes and logs. In a case study of one user's deployment, we audit, from preserved transcripts, how Claude Code agents keep these files up in cleanvibe, a scaffold for open-ended projects with a scheduled autonomous loop.
